Loki raised an eyebrow, as he stared at the device in Bill’s hand. “…Police?” Loki was never use to the terms used on Midgard, which was a surprise as he was there a lot, always being banished to Midgard. “What can they do? They are probably as useless as you are.” He frowned reaching out snatching the device. “What in the living hell is this…thing…?” What do I do with it…do I…Just… Pressing a button, causing it to light up, he squinted his eyes at it before throwing it to the side “Useless” he muttered to himself before looking back up Bill. “So…You going to cooperate with me ?”
{ ♫ } — When his cellphone was so carelessly thrown away, Bill really started to get angry. However, instead of using violence like most people would do in this situation, Bill just walked around the counter, heels clicking against the floor loudly while he stomped his way over to the other. “Now you fucking listen here, asshole–” he started, reaching out to grab onto the other one’s clothes in a tight grip. That was the closest he’d get to violence for now.. "You’re just making this fucking situation worse for yourself, and if you really want to test my limits, then go ahead – but I don’t have time for your fucking games, so if this is how you are going to play, I’ll be leaving.“ He knew he wasn’t done yet, but as he released Loki from his grip, he moved to pick up his phone, making sure it was fine before he called his boss, now completely ignoring the other one while going to get his stuff in the back. He explained the situation, including why he didn’t call the police; he thought Loki was mentally unstable and would be better off on an asylum or something.
“I will not calm down! I am the one in charge here not you so do as I say and follow my orders, you pathetic mewling quim!” Loki was getting angry now as he would normally get his way by now. He was never the patient one when it came to given orders and not getting his way. “You’re lucky my powers were taking away from or else you would be dead on the ground for touching me without permission!"
{ ♫ } — Bill was getting pretty angry himself, and he glared at the other one for a moment before he rolled his eyes. "Get out.” And he didn’t really stand there and wait for any reply, he simply went back into the back room and brought his phone, holding it up. “You’re crazy, and if you don’t get out of here right now, I am calling the police. Let’s see how you deal with them without your so called powers.” An eyebrow was raised questioningly towards the other man. Bill was having none of his shit today.
Loki didn’t particularly like what he heard coming out the others man mouth. “Excuse me?! What did you just say to me?! I commanded you to help me and you will do as I say or there will be consequences” He angrily shouted, reaching over to pull Bill towards him, leaving no space between them, as he frowned up at him. God damn it, why did they have to take my powers away now.
{ ♫ } — Bill had dealt with many angry customers in his life, so he remained calm even though the other one was shouting. That didn’t mean Bill liked it though. He highly disliked being shouted at, but at the same time getting angry wasn’t a solution – That was until he was grabbed. The man immediately took action as soon as possible, his hand reaching out and smacking the other man as hard as he possibly could before he used his other hand to see if he could push Loki away. “Hey! Calm the fuck down, will you?”
Noticing the other man never came back to sit with him, he decided he would take things into his own hands, getting up to walk over to the counter where he saw Bill sitting. “”I am Loki of Asgard and you will listen to me! You are going to help me get back home, whether you like it or not” Loki shouted slamming his hands down on the counter, not caring if he made a scene. Maybe this was why he always got in trouble at home and always ended up in the prison, but he didn’t really care, he was meant to be in charge, he was meant to be king and rule everyone.
{ ♫ } — The silence was appreciated dearly by the employee, but as soon as he heard the sound of movement in the room, he knew Loki was coming over to him. However – the scene that happened in front of him had him jump a bit and quickly take a step away from the counter before he raised an eyebrow at what he was told – no – commanded. “… Look.. I don’t know what kind of geek universe you’re in, Loki of Asgard.. but if you think you can waltz in her to play childish games you’ve picked the wrong place.” Bill was slightly glaring at the man before him now. When he had been bored earlier, this wasn’t exactly what he wanted to happen…
Loki tilted his head before squinting his eyes towards him, thinking about all the food he ate up in Asgard “…Well…” and he sat there for a couples of minutes listing all the food he and the other Asgardians ate. “But it seems like you don’t have any of that…right?” He leaned forward, getting too close to Bill. “You mortals do have strange ‘food’ down here don’t you?” He smiled, still over taking Bill’s space.
{ ♫ } — During the whole speech of food he could never get, Bill just stared with a look of confusion, then he snapped out of the trance as the other one broke his personal space, automatically leaning back just slightly to have some breathing air for himself. “… Yeah. Apparently we do,” he muttered as he got up from his chair. “I gotta.. go do something.” He smiled before he moved to the back room of the cafe once again, closing the door so he could call his brother. He just needed to hear his soothing voice right now. The conversation was short, and Bill told him about Loki before they hung up. Sighing to himself, the brown-eyed man went back outside, only to remain behind the desk once again to look through some papers.
Frowning, he pulled his hand back slowly, still staring at Bill. “Scar? I honestly do not understand what you mean by that? Do I have some sort of scar on my face?” Maybe when I fell I must have hurt myself and a scar si now appearing on my face? After all it was a long drop from Asgard so maybe that was what Bill was talking about. He looked down at his food and slowly pushed it towards Bill “I am sorry mortal, I do not particularly enjoy your kind of…food.” Loki gave a sad look before bringing his hands back to himself, before he quickly looked away from the young man, when he soon realised he was still staring.
{ ♫ } — “You haven’t– Lion king– No?” Bill was surprised, but once again pushed the topic away by shaking his head. “No, it’s fine, it was just a reference to something. Don’t think about it.” When the plate was pushed over to him, Bill reached out to take it, only to have his hand freeze for a moment as his brown eyes turned to stare at the other one when he heard the word ‘mortal’. He quickly recovered from the surprise, picking the plate up. He’d gladly take it instead, but he came to think about his weight, and was off to throw it. He was back quickly, plopping right back down before he tilted his head at this strange customer. “What kind of food do you enjoy then?” Maybe a slow approach to get closer to who this man was good for now.
Staring at the man, who was now named Bill, he squinted his eyes and smile. “Loki…I’m…Loki.” The Asgardian held out his hand to shake with the Midgardain, trying to act friendly as possible, thinking maybe he could help him get back home. “Ah…No, it’s completely fine, I’m just not use to this kind of food down on Mid- I mean Earth” He gave a small smile, picking it up with his free hand, taking a bite out of it. Got to act normal remember, don’t let your guard down and let these pathetic…mortals know who are..at least not yet. He smiled once more waiting on, Bill to shake his hand.
{ ♫ } — Bill frowned as he looked to the hand held out to him, tilting his head before he reached out and took it, giving it one shake. Loki. Funny name. That comment was kept to himself as an eyebrow was raised at the stumble of words from the other one. Bill let out a soft chuckle before he nodded, once again deciding that he’d just not.. question Loki. “Still. If you don’t like it; don’t eat it, Scar.” The Disney reference was another slip of his small comments, basically because Loki reminded him of just that lion. No matter how hard Bill tried to find a logical explanation as to why Loki was acting so.. not-normal.. it was impossible. In the end he just went with the assumption of possible shyness or anxiety.
Loki looked up, blinking, before looking round to see if he was speaking to him or to anyone behind him. Looking back at the man, he tilted his head and stared. Lost puppy, what is a lost puppy and why was he a lost puppy? He thought before shrugging “I’ve been banished from my home…If that is what you mean?” Loki gave a half smile before looking back down at the food on his plate, playing with it a little.
{ ♫ } — Banished? How old was this guy? Bill didn’t question it, deciding to sympathize with the man instead as he sighed. It didn’t look like there was going to be anything else happening, so he went around the desk and took a seat on the chair opposite of the customer. “I’m Bill,” he said with another smile before he turned to look down at the food that was being played with, pouting slightly. “Sorry, it wasn’t much of a surprise seeing as there aren’t many surprises to find in this place.” He shrugged. “It’s okay if you don’t like it.”
Oh god what is thing…The Asgardian smiled before picking up the plate, turning round to see if he could find a place to sit. He smiled and walked over to a table sitting down, staring at his food. Do I really have to eat this…thing? He looked up at the stranger and smiled before picking up the food and eating it, to show he was enjoying the “thing” that was made for him. When he saw the man look away from him, Loki quickly spat out the food in the napkin that was giving to me. This Midgardian food is not very pleasant but I guess it has to do for now, Loki sighed trying to eat the food again.
{ ♫ } — There was something.. odd about this guy, but Bill decided not to be the rude guy who’d stare and whatnot, so he spun around and headed to the back room to get some more cookies to put there since it was getting empty. His high heels clicked against the floor, creating an awkward echo through the silent cafe. He returned shortly after, placing the cookies where they were supposed to be before he leaned on the desk, propping himself up with his elbows and glanced at the customer. “You look like some kind of lost puppy.” Ooops, slipped right out of him.
Loki sighed as he pushed the door to the cafe open, banished from Asgard again he thought walking up the counter, seeing a young man behind the counter. Before he could even speak, the young man spoke up asking if he could help him. “Oh, well…” Loki stared at him not knowing what to say since he wasn’t use to the stuff that Misgardians ate. ”…Surprise me?” He said flashing a smile.
{ ♫ } — “Gotcha.” There wasn’t much more of a reply from the brown-eyed man as he got up quickly. The cafe lacked a lot when it came to food, but they did have a lot of good sweets that Bill stole every now and then while being there. He moved a few steps to the left and decided to take a plate, putting one of their well-known cookies on it and adding a brownie before he put the plate on the desk and smiled. “Here ya go.” His thick German accent was easy to hear – God he hated it.
